I have been meaning to do a new entry in our blog for quite awhile now. Time has just slipped away from me! At the end of April, I went up to my co-workers house in the country to take pictures of her beautiful pregnant belly. 🙂 We had gorgeous weather and landscape in our favor – not to mention a beautiful momma-to-be! The pictures turned out lovely – a wonderful keepsake for Tabatha to keep and show her daughter when she is older. Here are a few of my favorite shots from our afternoon photo shot.
Beach
I have decided that I want to move to the beach and live in a beach cottage. 🙂 We had the APC woman’s retreat this past weekend at Emerald Isle, NC. It was a lovely weekend – good weather, beautiful house, yummy food and good friends. Unfortunately, in my hurry to get out the door Friday afternoon, I forgot my camera. I was so sad because the weather was beautiful and I could have gotten some pretty shots.Hopefully, I won’t be so bad about updating as I have been the past few weeks!
Weekend Events
This past weekend was fairly eventful. We didn’t get to do the youth service project due to rain. Not much fun to walk around the neighborhood collecting canned foods in the pouring rain. So we’ll do that another time! Friday evening the lovely Laurie Hooten asked me to come over to her house to take her portrait for her business advertisements. We had beautiful weather Friday and Laurie has some really pretty flowers in her garden so we got some nice outdoor shots. I am so thankful for any learning experiences I can get. Pretty spring day
Only a little more than one hour left at work….it is soooo pretty outside! I just want to leave and enjoy the pretty sunshine. Especially since it is supposed to be cold and rainy again this weekend. The end of this week couldn’t come any faster! Yay for the weekend! So much going on this weekend. Tomorrow I am hosting a baby shower for my lovely co-worker. Therefore, there are many things to do before tomorrow! Sunday is busy too with church, youth service project and Bible study. And then it will be Monday all over again. 🙁 Happy weekend! …
Haircut for Puppy
So since I posted a picture of my haircut it is only fitting that I post a picture of my puppy’s haircut. We told the groomer to take it short and this is what we got! It definitely took some wrangling to get him to hold still for a picture but doesn’t he look handsome? 🙂

Living Room Update
So the painting part of our living room project is complete (still so much more we want to do!). After our unsuccessful first paint job I think we are very happy with the new green color. We are also impressed with what spray paint can do for an ugly black and gold fireplace doors. My sister thought it was new! The coffee table is also a new addition. Still haven’t found end tables but one little piece at a time. Told everyone I would put up a picture so here is one – enjoy!
One year
Yesterday was the official one year anniversary of the day we moved into our house. I was looking at some of the pictures we took when the house was empty (before we moved all our junk in) and the house has changed quite a bit. We still have a long list of projects that we wish to undertake but we have gotten quite a few accomplished. We, however, had a paint blunder this weekend and must backtrack and repaint. New Style!
So I finally broke down, found a hair stylist and paid full price for a new haircut. I ended up making an appointment at this cute little hair salon in downtown Apex. My stylist was Liz and she was very nice and very good! Here is a picture of my new do – still getting used to the bangs!
Dog for Sale
Adorable chocolate labradoodle pup for sale. He is smart but extremely stubborn. Likes to bark, scratch at the door and eat. Write to us if interested. Ok, we aren’t really selling the Yanks but if anyone has any really good trainers to recommend now would be the time to offer thier names. 🙂 Our doggie has hit puberty and has been driving us crazy with his barking and getting things he shouldn’t have. His good looks save him from being put up for sale!
