Well, summer has officially arrived in North Carolina. After a rare mild spring, the heat and humidity have been turned up to full blast. The beginning of the Memorial Day weekend brought rain but it was nice and sunny (but very humid!) by the end. Monday we spent just hanging out as a family and then later with church friends at a cookout. We spent quite some time out in the front yard just playing in the shade. Getting Big
Just an update on the “chunk”, as we affectionately call him. 🙂 He is getting so big and his hair is getting so long! Next week he will be 11 months – so hard to believe! Levi loves the camera {especially for mommy!} so we have fun taking little snapshots. 🙂
Zoo Day!
This post is a little late in coming but still wanted to post these pictures! About 2 weeks ago, my friend Lindsay and I took our boys out to Asheboro, NC to the NC Zoo. I was initially really worried about this day trip – fearing that I would be carrying my 25 lb. baby all day long. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised and we had a WONDERFUL day! Both boys did great, we had beautiful weather and just an overall good day. Looking forward to a full family trip someday soon!
