Photography Practice
So, tomorrow morning I am photographing my first newborn (8 days old!) completely solo! Eek!! I am so excited about it but sooooo nervous. This morning I whipped out some of my supplies to practice. Since I am having a boy I do not have any baby dolls hence why we had to use a teddy bear. 🙂 I give you my teddy bear newborn!
30 Weeks!
We are at 30 weeks! Had an appointment yesterday and everything was “perfect” (according to the dr.). Photography Workshop
This past weekend I attended a photography workshop in Burlington, NC that was run by Sara-Anne of Sara-Anne Photography. It was a great workshop! (Check out my post over on my photo blog.) It is not just for those that want to be a photographer (as a job) but it is also for those that just want to learn more about photography and Photoshop. Are we there yet?
I apologize for the absence of posting – Mike and I have been traveling all over the east coast this past week. We are finally home and back to normal life. 🙂 Here are some pictures from our travels. 3rd Trimester!
We have officially entered the 3rd trimester!! I am 28 weeks (or starting 7 month) today. Saw the doctor this morning and heard Levi’s heartbeat. Burlap & Scrap Wreath
I have been in a very crafty mood this week. We’ll see how long it continues! The other day I ran across this tutorial on how to make a burlap wreath. I instantly fell in love and had to make it. Craft Projects for Baby
I have been working on some sewing projects this week for Levi and still have more up my sleeve! I am really into the applique on shirts – so cute! These are the two that I have gotten done so far. I just bought a Stanley dresser off Craigslist for $100! I love good finds. 🙂 It is perfect except for the color so we are going to refinish it. Stay tuned for pictures!
Western Carolina
This past weekend we were invited by our friends, John & Kati (no relation to the TV show!), to their parent’s vacation home in western North Carolina. Along with John, Kati, their 2 children, and us, we were also joined by Matt & Karen and their 2 little ones. The cabin was very pretty and just perfect to fit us all.
