Having some more than usual trouble with this guy lately. He is one strong willed kid and we have always fought with him on food. But now he is rejecting things that he has previously liked. Had a stand off with him twice today and still didn’t eat anything. Hoping he is hungry for pizza in the morning! (He looks happy because he saw my camera but this stand off involved tears and yelling. Don’t be fooled.)
365 Day Challenge ~ January 1
So, I resolved (yesterday!) to challenge myself to taking a picture each day of the year and documenting it. I have watched others do similar photo challenges in years past and have always thought that they were so cool, especially once the year is over and you have all those pictures to look back at. More Kisses
Levi is a sweet sweet little boy. We love him so much – even when he is throwing a temper tantrum! It is amazing how much I cherish our snuggle time now that Charlotte is here. I look forward to those few minutes after Charlotte is in bed or in the morning while she is napping to spend just with Levi. Perspective is constantly changing! Birthday Fun!
Levi is officially 2! He still does not grasp the concept of a birthday yet. The cake and presents are still foreign to him (although he is starting to show interest in unwrapping the presents – just doesn’t know what it means to get a present). So, on his actual birth day we didn’t do a whole lot. The kid doesn’t eat cake or ice cream and doesn’t understand to want presents. It was a pretty non-event. 🙂 He did open a few presents from us, grandparents and some other family. His favorite gift was a Bubble Mower (surprise surprise) …
Sibling Sweetness
Before Charlotte was born, Levi had no clue what a sister was let alone a baby. I really didn’t think he was going to catch on for quite awhile. And he proved me right for the first 3 weeks or so. Paid absolutely no attention to her. Then he slowly started saying “baby” (“b”) and then “Char” for Charlotte. But he wouldn’t give her a kiss if we asked him to (which he is usually very willing to give). He would blow her a kiss but wouldn’t get close to her. Hello Again!
So, if anyone is still reading our blog I apologize for the immense gaps in time that pass before I post a new entry. I wish that I could keep up with this but time gets away from me and before I know it 6 months has passed! Farm Days!
Ok, I realize that this blog has been very poorly attended to over the past few months. I’m sorry! Life has just been busy busy busy. Between chasing a toddler, growing a baby, working on business stuff and just all general stuff this blog got neglected. So much has happened since we last posted too! 18 Months!
So hard to believe but little Levi is 18 months old today! He has been sick (Hand, Foot and Mouth) for the past couple days so he has been a bit grumpy. He is also perfecting his tantrum skills and boy are we in for it! Can we say STRONG will!
